 William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy spent nine years at Dove Cottage in Grasmere, the Lake District. Here, he wrote some of his greatest poetry, while his sister kept her Grasmere journals. He once described the cottage and its surrounding area as "the loveliest spot that man hath ever found".

 HEALTH bosses have defended sweeping changes at Neath Port Talbot Hospital. The hospital's acute medical services were switched to Swansea and Bridgend last month because Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University (ABMU) Health Board said it could not find enough qualified doctors to run it.
